Arabian F.O.A.L. Association

Has established and operates a program to determine SCID unapparent carriers of known lethal or sub lethal recessive defects of the Arabian, Half-Arabian, and Anglo-Arabian horse.  The only AHA approved lab for this SCID  test is VetGen.  There are other lethals affecting the Arabian horse that are in need of research funding to obtain a test for.

F.O.A.L. welcomes participants in the program who will agree to disclose all relevant information to any potential buyer, lessee, transferee or breeder and establishes programs of education, genetic research, test procedures, and funding.

**Farm MUST be one that has SCID tested the stallion(s) they stand at stud,

   or if not a stallion based farm, breeding mares must have been tested.

Club Patron ship:

Any club which endorses the principles of the F.O.A.L. Association is invited to pledge its support by becoming a F.O.A.L.  Association Club Patron. Clubs will receive periodic news releases to use in newsletters, and they will be solicited for input in F.O.A.L. developments.  The Club Patron ship contribution levels are:

 50 members or less                                            $25.00                    51-150 members                               $50.00

 151-300 members                                                $75.00                    301 members or more                     $100.00
